Privacy Policy

ConsistentUs(“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights when you use the ConsistentUsmobile application (“the App”).

By using ConsistentUs, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to provide and improve the App:

• Phone number — required for account creation and authentication via OTP.
• Display name and profile photo — provided by you during sign-up or in your profile settings.
• Step count and fitness activity — read from Apple Health (iOS) or Google Fit (Android) only with your explicit permission. Used solely to display your daily activity and award points.
• Body metrics — optional data you voluntarily enter (height, weight, waist, hip measurements) to personalise your experience.
• Course progress — sessions completed, streaks, day number, and enrolled programs.
• Community content — photos or comments you post in Community Moments; displayed to other users within the App.
• Device push token (FCM) — used to deliver daily workout reminders and important notifications. You may revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.
• Payment information — order amounts and payment IDs are stored to confirm your enrollment. Card numbers, UPI credentials, and bank details are processed entirely by Razorpay and are never stored on our servers.
• Usage analytics — anonymised app events (screen views, feature usage) collected via Firebase Analytics to help us improve the App.
• Crash and performance reports — anonymised error and performance data collected via Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Performance to fix bugs and improve stability.

We do not collect: location data, microphone access, contacts, advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID), date of birth, meal or nutrition logs, or any form of ad-network data.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Authenticate your account securely via phone OTP.
• Personalise your home screen, progress tracking, and course recommendations.
• Display community leaderboards and Community Moments.
• Process course purchases and manage your enrollments.
• Send daily workout reminders and important app notifications.
• Improve app stability and performance using crash and analytics data.
• Respond to your support requests.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or third-party marketers.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate ConsistentUs. Each has its own privacy policy:

4. Health & Fitness Data (Apple Health / Google Fit)

ConsistentUs can optionally read your daily step count from Apple Health (iOS) or Google Fit (Android). We request this permission only when you choose to use the step-tracking feature and ask for your explicit consent before accessing any health data.

Health and fitness data is used only to display your activity within the App and to award points on the leaderboard. It is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any purpose beyond in-app display. We do not write data back to Apple Health or Google Fit.

5. Push Notifications

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send daily workout reminders and important announcements. You will be asked for permission before notifications are enabled. You can turn off notifications at any time in your device’s notification settings or from within the App.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service.

• Account deletion: Personal profile data (name, photo, body metrics, progress) is deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
• Transaction records: Payment order IDs and enrollment records may be retained for up to 7 years for financial and legal compliance.
• Analytics data: Anonymised usage and crash data in Firebase is retained per Google’s default retention settings (typically 14 months for Analytics, 90 days for Crashlytics).

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
• Authentication tokens are issued and verified by Firebase Authentication.
• Payment signatures are verified server-side by Razorpay before any enrollment is confirmed.
• Your database records are stored in Supabase with row-level security enforced by authenticated JWT tokens.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

ConsistentUs is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — update inaccurate or incomplete data directly in the App or by contacting us.
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
• Notification opt-out — revoke push notification consent at any time via your device settings.
• Health data opt-out — revoke Apple Health / Google Fit access at any time via your device settings.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you via the App or email. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
